I was standing in and photo doubling for Emily Procter on CSI Miami. (I do background and stand in work for Films/TV.) He was standing in for himself for a while since he was ready for his scene and we were just standing apart, facing each other. He was wearing a wig on the show (why they couldn't use his own hair, I don't know... maybe it wasn't long enough) and he said that he looked a lot more dangerous without it haha! Then when they didn't need to use me anymore, I was sitting on a couch nearby and he sat in front of me, turned around and introduced himself, "Hi, I'm Tom." I said it was nice to meet him, but at that point I didn't really know who he was or remembered what I had seen him in. He kept asking me questions like where I was from and I told him MI and he said that his agent's from MI too. I asked him where he was from and he said NJ. He also told me that he was a child actor but like an idiot, I figured I probably didn't see whatever it was that he was in, so I didn't ask him.
I just saw the CSI episode he was in today and thought I'd look him up because he did seem familiar and I thought he was really good on the show. (I even got to witness him do a scene.) Anyway, I'm now kicking myself for not asking him what he was in, because the Sandlot was one of my favorite movies as a kid! I tried to look him up on MySpace but had no luck... I can't even find a website for him so that I can tell him I'm a fan and didn't even know it when I met him, lol. Oh yeah, he said that we were wearing the same kind of shoes too (Vans) but that mine looked a lot better. I can't really think of anything else we talked about at the time but I'll put in on here if I do. :)
