I decided to create ThomasGuiry.Net in the Autumn of 2008 after getting at e-mail from MSN saying that their Groups service would be closing in February of 2009. In their e-mail, they directed MSN Group Managers to upload their groups to a friend site of MSN. I check it out to see what it was like and was extremely disappointed. It didn't seem like most of our information would transfer, let alone the many, many photos that wonderful group members have contributed to the galleries over the last 5 years! So, I decided to take a giant leap and do something that I've actually wanted to do since way back in the day when I first made the MSN Group. Make a WEBSITE! I knew it would be tough, because I don't know a lot about web design or web creations....But with the knowledge I do have, I knew that I'd be able to at least get up something bearable and temperary until I could design the site of my dreams. That is why the current site looks not so well. I desperately wanted to get it up and running BEFORE the February 1st deadline, so that I could spread the word about it on the MSN Group. I will be slowly but surely adding better features, fixing it up, and eventually, getting a whole new layout set up. Until then, please bare with me! If you have any feedback or can help out in any way, please let me know! I'm especially interested in anyone who could help me find/set up a good password protected photo gallery for all of the photos.

Hello :) My name is kelly. I started the Thomas Guiry Group on MSN on April 14th, 2003. Why? In 2001, I saw U-571 for the first time. I was a little girl, and the story and characters stole my heart! Little Trigger was especially dear to me....There was just something about his character that seemed so real. That was the first time that a character in a movie truly spoke to me, and I just had to look up who that actor was. There is just something about Thomas Guiry's acting that never ceces to amaze me. I always feel so connected with his characters. And I love the roles he chooses. He can play adorable Trigger in one movie, and then play rough and tough Jimmy Donnelly in "The Black Donnellys". And every character is so convincing :) Every time I watch U-571 to this day....many years later (I'm much older now, too.......) I still get that little twinkling feeling inside of me, thinking "who is that boy?! What's his story?!" And Thomas' acting still seems so wonderful! I hope I explained myself well enough for you to understand. It's very hard to put to words, lol....
Anyway, some random information about me...I live in the United States. I am a French Language and Literature major in college, and I get very good grades ;) My favorite movie is U-571. I have a twin sister, who also adores U-571. In fact, we have this rule where we can't watch it without the other one being there to watch it, too! I also have a little sister who loves Mazzola (Erik Palladino's character). Besides working on this site and looking for more Tom info, I also enjoy collecting American Girl Dolls, knitting, sewing, reading, and writing.
